In the hills where fragrances mingle daily with the wind from the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, we tend four vineyards to produce fresh, pleasant and light wines: Refosco, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio and Malvasia.
We personally oversee every stage of the vineyard cultivation process and, like a mantra, when we touch the first plants we think of the wine that will be sipped with laughter in company or in an intimate moment of light-heartedness.
We want to pass on to our children the passions left by our ancestors: work in the vineyard, for hospitality and for good food.
Having the vineyards at our doorstep allows us to constantly monitor them and devote ourselves to giving each plant individuality in the complex biological system that is the vineyard’.

The morainic hills of central Friuli are ideal for growing grapes, especially aromatic varieties. Thanks to a constant airflow that comes from the Adriatic Sea during the day, and at night from the Alps at night, there’s a big temperature difference that helps the plants produce the aromatic substances that we find in our grapes and wines. There are further notable benefits in terms of the health of the plants and bunches, allowing us to care for the vineyard in a way that respects nature.
The debris left by the glaciers that formed the hills and the subsequent erosion and colonisation by vegetation have created a varied quality of soil, from clayey to stony, from fertile to poor. In the design of our vineyards, analyses of the soil, sun exposure and winds have been the basis for the varietal choices that have led us to cultivate varieties suited to their habitat.
