Activities available

At Borgo Floreani, every day can be spent relaxing or actively exploring. We organise guided tours of our farm, where you can participate in the various stages of production: from sowing to harvesting, from pruning to grape picking, experiencing the rhythm of the countryside up close.

Those who love to be active can stroll along the paths that wind through vineyards, woods and rural villages, or explore the surroundings by bicycle, which we are happy to make available to our guests. There are plenty of opportunities to discover the area: we organise excursions to the main historical sites in the area and participate in the numerous food and wine events that enliven Friuli throughout the year.

Our destinations

Located in the heart of Friuli, Borgo Floreani is the ideal starting point for exploring an authentic and surprising region, rich in history, nature and culture, still far from mass tourism.

In the immediate vicinity, there are trails winding through hills, rural villages, medieval castles and historic villas, which can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback. From here, you can follow the Ippovia (horse trail) or the Strada dei Castelli e del Prosciutto (Castles and Prosciutto Trail) to San Daniele to taste the local prosciutto. In less than an hour, you can reach Collio, Carnia, the Natisone Valleys, but also iconic destinations such as Aquileia, Cividale, Palmanova, Udine and even Venice or Trieste.

And then there are riding stables, swimming pools, golf and alpine trekking, where nature and culture coexist in perfect balance.
